It isn't that I could not afford better equipment.  I was making good money.  But there was no place to buy broadcast equipment in Kosovo at that time.  The NATO bombing had just ended and the stores only handled necessities of life.

You do not need to spend a ton of money to become an internet broadcaster.  There are those who will tell you you don't have to purchase any equipment at all.  That is true--if you do not plan to build an audience.
